Real Wedding: Dylan & Dave

A bride and groom exchange vows in front of their guests with rolling hills in the background

Season: Summer, July

When the groom works in the floral industry, you know flowers are going to play a starring role.

Dave is part of a software team that provides products for the floral supply chain. So naturally, he had a deep appreciation for the process, the design, and the little details. His partner, Dylan, brought her own vision to the table—she was drawn to vibrant color and had one non-negotiable: ranunculus, and lots of them.

While the overall floral palette was joyful and bold, Dylan requested that her bouquet stay classic and white—a beautiful contrast to the saturated blooms used throughout the day. The ceremony took place outdoors, framed by lush, seasonal flowers bursting with color. Afterward, we repurposed those same blooms to bring the barn reception to life, incorporating them at the barn entrance and around the dinner tables to create a seamless, sustainable transition.

Hayfield, with its mountain views and rustic-modern barn, was the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding that felt both elevated and relaxed. Working alongside Christofora Events, we helped bring Dylan and Dave’s vision to life: a celebration that felt personal, floral-forward, and completely in bloom.
